1. Electric hand drill
Electric hand drill is a hand-held electric tool, which is mainly composed of collet, output shaft, gear, rotor, stator, casing, switch and cable. It is more suitable for drilling holes in materials requiring very little force, such as cork, metal, brick, ceramic tile and so on. It is suitable for screwing screws, furniture assembly, installation of shelves, curtains, etc.
Note: do not use electric hand drill to drill cement and brick walls, otherwise it is easy to burn the motor.
Model selection: there are many types of electric hand drill. When equipped with forward and reverse switches and electronic speed regulating devices, it can be used as an electric screwdriver; Some models are equipped with rechargeable batteries, which can work normally without external power supply within a certain period of time; Right angle electric drill, the electric drill head is 90 degrees from the body, which is suitable for use in a narrow working space.
2. Percussion drill
Percussion drills work by rotation and impact and can be used in natural stone or concrete. It not only has the function of ordinary electric hand drill, but can also drill reinforced concrete like electric hammer, but the effect is not as good as the latter. Therefore, the impact drill is mainly suitable for drilling wood, metal, ceramic tile and concrete below 10mm.
Note: generally, the percussion drill cannot be used as an electric drill. Because the direction of the percussion drill is not easy to control, it is easy to mis-operate and the opening will be too large.
Mold selection: the larger the size of the percussion drill bit, the higher the price. The household size is generally 20mm; if the model has the letter R, the drill bit can be reversed, and the electric drill with the letter E can adjust the speed.
