1. According to the diameter and total length of the designed drill bit, alloy bar cutting machine or wire cutting equipment can be selected for fixed length processing.
2. For the bar cut with fixed length, the flat ends of both ends can be realized on the manual tool grinder.
3. Chamfer or punch the milled end face of the alloy bar to prepare for grinding the outer diameter and shank of the drill bit, depending on whether the cylindrical grinding fixture is a Yang or Yin tip.
4. The cylindrical diameter of the drill bit, the outer diameter of the void avoiding part and the handle are processed on the high-precision cylindrical grinder to ensure the design requirements of the outer diameter cylindricity, circular runout, surface finish, etc
5. In order to improve the processing efficiency on the CNC grinder, the drill tip of the drill bit can be chamfered before the alloy bar is placed on the CNC grinder, such as 140 ° drill tip angle, which can be roughly ground to 142 °.
6. After the chamfered alloy bar is cleaned, it is transferred to the NC grinder process to process all parts of the drill bit on the five axis NC grinder.
7. If it is necessary to improve the chip removal groove and ex-circle finish of the drill, it can also be ground and polished with wool wheel and abrasive before or after step 5. Of course, in this case, the drill needs to be processed in more steps.
8. For qualified drill bits, laser marking, brand logo, drill size and other information shall be carried out.
9. Package the marked drill bit and then transport it to the designated place for coating.
