3. Replacement of Electric Drill Bit
1) Normally, the replacement methods of the above three electric drills are the same, but the drill chuck on the drill bit is divided into self-tightening drill chuck and hand tightening drill chuck. When replacing the drill bit in the electric drill with self-tightening drill chuck, we need to hold the drill chuck with one hand and turn on the reverse switch of the electric drill, so as to simply replace the original drill bit. And use the same method to put the drill bit up. The most important thing is that don’t forget to turn back the front and back of the switch. If it is a hand tight drill chuck, it can be replaced as long as you open it with your own drill chuck key.
4. Daily Maintenance of Electric Drill
1) Check the carbon brush: the carbon brush on the motor is a consumable. Once its wear exceeds the limit, the motor will fail. Therefore, the worn carbon brush should be replaced immediately. In addition, the carbon brush must always be kept clean.
2) Inspection of fastening screws of electric drill body: check the fastening of mounting screws of electric drill body before use. If the screws are found to be loose, tighten them immediately, otherwise the electric drill will fail.
3) Check the drill bit: using a dull or curved drill bit will cause abnormal working conditions on the overload surface of the motor and reduce the operation efficiency. Therefore, if such conditions are found, it shall be handled and replaced immediately.
4) Inspection of protective grounding wire: the protective grounding wire is an important measure to protect personal safety. Therefore, the shell of class I appliances (metal shell) should be inspected frequently, and there should be good grounding.
